Isle of Man

Financial services is an important sector for The Isle of Man, but the Government is keen to diversify the economy by attracting inward business investment and entrepreneurial individuals.

A public/private sector committee was formed to direct the development of a clear and compelling national identity. HPI was appointed to help select and hone concepts as well as provide guidelines for the creation of a ‘brand’ identity. We undertook a three-stage research plan, using mixed methodologies, interviewing residents and current and prospective businesses. The result was a clear strategic direction and the proposition and line ‘Freedom to flourish’ is now being incorporated into communication targeted both on and off the island.
